Do smaller companies have LGBT-friendly policies? When I see health plans, I want to make sure that all medically necessary care for my transness is covered, without a prescription or an extra copay. I would prefer not to need to see a specialist in order to receive care coverage. Do you have a written policy on transgender employees and how they are treated? If someone were to decide to transition while working for the company, would they be able to take their time in the process (e.g., name change, clothing style, pronouns)?

What about when I'm taking part in a company training session or workshop? What would happen if someone chose to come out as transgender? Making the necessary adjustments to physical facilities is essential to establishing a welcoming atmosphere. If space permits, these can involve installing gender-neutral restrooms, or they can be as easy as renaming the restrooms in your building to male/female/gender neutral or non-binary.
Workers have the option to modify their names or pronouns on forms and paystubs. Organizations and businesses can commemorate LGBTQ History Month in a variety of ways, but it's crucial to acknowledge and celebrate the diversity in our communities.
